Unlike emergency services, which provide immediate disaster response, our areas of focus are on either side of the emergency in the preparedness and recovery phases.
Preparedness is about helping communities proactively prepare for the unexpected. We work with communities to identify risks, develop disaster management strategies, and build their capability to face future challenges.
When disaster strikes, we shift our focus to recovery. In the aftermath of a disaster, we provide essential cleanup and support to help communities pick up the pieces and rebuild their lives.
