Grid system

When creating marketing collateral for DRA, our grid system creates a structured framework that helps organise content, ensuring consistency and alignment across layouts. It provides flexibility for creating balanced and professional designs.

Columns

The grid is based on a 12-column system, which allows for a column breakdown of one, two, three, four, and six.

Rows

The DRA grid system is built on rows divisible by three. This structure allows for at least three clear sections, ideal for incorporating a title, image, and body copy.

The grid system adapts easily to different format sizes, orientations, and the needs of specialised media. This example highlights its flexibility in an A4 format.

Margins create space between content and the edges of a page. The DRA grid system includes two types of margins: regular and narrow. Narrow margins are always half the width of regular margins and are ideal for colour blocks or images. Text should always align with the regular margins, even when narrow margins are used elsewhere in the layout.
